What could you live without???

I began social blogging when Deb Hash sent me hers. She said that it was easy to set up and it might be fun. I had a myspace that I have let gone dormant and only use the blog 2 to 3 times a month. I tend to write too much and would like to get use to doing it with shorter entries more times a month. I have sent my URL to other friends but they leave few comments. I read my daughter's and son in law's regularly.

Question for July 20 -- What could you NOT live without? The Computer? or Your Cell Phone?
Why?

Thanks again for your comments.....Feel free to comment on any of the days that you missed July 17-20.

I couldn't live without my cell phone. It's funny that this is the question! My little sister has just gone without her phone for a long time. I can't imagine the annoyance she's had to go through without it. I've been annoyed knowing I couldn't get a hold of her!

I would much rather pick up my phone and talk to a real person than poke keys on a keyboard forever...

ME TOO! I want to hear my families' voices. I am not so particular with other people, BUT most of them I see and talk to most every day. Sometimes it is quicker to type a short e-mail, BUT I want to hear my family.

I have discovered the answer to this question within the last three weeks. My phone died on me, and even though I had my computer it in NO way made up for it.

It is SO hard for me to not talk to my family and hear their voices. The computer does not compare to vocal communication. I think it is because you have the ability to read emotions into words on blogs and emails and take them the way you want to. It is a lot harder to ignore inflections in voices when people are happy or upset when you can hear them and hear how they are really feeling.

I know I could always email my family, but if I had to live without one or the other, I would gladly throw the computer out the window (which of course I wouldn't because then I couldn't leave comments) :)
